Essential Functions and Basic Duties

The position requires technical work in the installation, repair and maintenance of data infrastructures. Work involves determining various types of malfunctions, repairing and installing structure cabling components for local area network infrastructures. Duties include but are not limited to the following and additional tasks may be assigned by Kinetix Management Team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Review infrastructure requests to determine extent of needed service

· With Project Manager’s assistance, use construction drawings, schematic diagrams, code and system-defined standards to move or install new data infrastructure

· Measure, cut, assemble and install conduit, pathways or appropriate ceiling supports

· Lifts, carries and moves cable and equipment as required

· Pull various types of cable according to pathway, install related structure cable components and complete necessary terminations

· Use testing devices and system-defined standards to test compliance requirements and document results

· Use testing devices or other methods to determine connection issues and apply corrective action to provide enhancement and/or correct problem; may make appropriate service calls or refer complex problems to Project Manager

· Basic installation of personal computers utilizing various operating systems and software

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Certifications Required
· Physically able to operate a variety of equipment and tools including testing equipment, hand tools and power tools

· Must be able to exert up to 75 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects

· Requires ability to climb and maneuver on ladders, lifts and/or tight places

· Physical demand requirements for moderate work

· General knowledge of hubs, routers, switches, modems and other communication hardware

· Certifications as required for position

Overview of Responsibilities for Bookkeeper

  • Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes
  • Conduct reconciliation of accounts on an as needed basis
  • Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
  • Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
  • Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition

Qualifications for Bookkeeper

  • 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping

  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger

Essential Functions and Role-Specific Competencies

The position requires a working knowledge of administering and maintaining IP network infrastructures, including IP connectivity and communications with an understanding of Firewalls and MS Server and Desktop Operating Systems. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ability to perform PC and General LAN Support with excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of customer PC and Network and related infrastructures
  • Specifically the following:

PC’s and General LAN devices

Switches, Firewalls and Wireless Network devices

  • Work within HelpDesk and Remote Support applications
  • Document customer networks and new installs into the Kinetix Help Desk application
  • Promotes responsible usage and care of company equipment
  • Participate in On-Call rotation for support of Kinetix customers
  • Overall you will be expected to support customer requests as directly related to HelpDesk and minor Server issues
  • Normal business hours are stated below. Technology issues will be addressed and work will be performed as necessary, especially with regard to customer downtime or the Kinetix Internet network
  • Several Days per week, on-site at customer locations
  • Including above referenced activities, additional tasks may be assigned per Kinetix Management Team

Primary Qualifications

In-depth understanding of the PCs and associated OS’s, Browsers and General PC applications such as eMail and AV.

  • A+ and/or NET+ or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with PCs, Printers and General LAN devices
  • Knowledge of and some experience with firewall functionality, configuration and problem resolution.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

The position requires installation and support of technology services and products including but not limited to the following:

  • Pre-Sale data collection and assistance for providing proposals to customer via Sales Team
  • Proficient installation, configuration and support of the Kinetix IP PBX and on premise customer IP PBX
  • Setup and configuration of SIP Trunks, Digital Receptionist, Call Routing, Extensions, Devices or Phones as needed to complete the solution for quality voice service
  • Successfully complete software updates, changes and repair procedures using appropriate technical documentation and tools
  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, repair and preventative maintenance of system/station equipment
  • Conduct all moves/adds/changes and installation of additional products
  • Manage customer expectations and needs
  • Provide documentation on services rendered to both customer and Kinetix
  • Assist Kinetix Team as needed; Computers, Networking, Infrastructure, Projects and other
  • Perform overall customer satisfaction with regard to Company policy
  • Ability to stay current with technology trends

Including above referenced activities, additional assigned tasks to be performed at customer site and from the Kinetix

Qualifications

Required Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and understanding of IP PBX, networking, wiring, telephony and trunking technologies associated with traditional and converged IP telephone systems
