Position Summary

This position requires a skilled, personal, take ownership, full-time Bookkeeper with Quick Books competency to perform a variety of financial tasks. Duties include but are not limited to the following and additional tasks may be assigned by Kinetix Management Team.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Receipt and processing customer payments
  • Account reconciliation and standard journal entries
  • Monthly reporting of receivables
  • Lead collections for 30+ Days Past Due Accounts
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
  • Update invoices and adjust client contracts as instructed by the business development or sales team
  • Ensure new clients are set up and appropriately coded in the system
  • Send out monthly invoices
  • Reconcile monthly credit card transactions
  • Balance monthly bank statements
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Daily entry of key data of financial transactions in database

Qualifications / Required Knowledge: 

  • Associate’s Degree in accounting or related field, preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a bookkeeping role
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Aptitude for business
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be comfortable meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience with financial statements and tax returns

Position Summary

The position requires varied knowledge of Kinetix business management systems. Duties include but are not limited to the following and additional tasks may be assigned by Kinetix Management Team.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Oversee purchasing of materials and supplies that meet the quantity and quality expectations
  • Manage inventory
  • Maintain Customer details in QuickBooks accounting system
  • Develop understanding of Business Operations billing/collection process and credit terms
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
  • Work closely with Sales Administrator w/regards to researching customer information, billing status, subsequent credits & billing adjustments – computes, prints & mails monthly customer account statements
  • Resolve customer billing disputes
  • Post customer payments
  • Enhance customer information flow to expedite delivery of invoices and accelerate client payment processing
  • Reconcile SPLA & VSPP monthly reports and submit to vendor by 5th of each month
  • Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data to maintain accounting records
  • Assist with activities associated with the Kinetix document archiving application
  • Support sales and accounting with special projects/reports as needed
  • Answer telephone inquiries and provide information for general public, customers and visitors

Including above referenced activities, additional assigned tasks may be assigned per Kinetix Management Team.  

Qualifications / Required Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting software
  • Working knowledge of internet for on-line account inquiries
