Available Positions

The Digital Marketing – Social Media & Content Creator is responsible for planning, developing, and editing content for social media, websites, and blogs. The ideal candidate is a true digital content native, with a deep experience writing creative, targeted online content.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to present content in dynamic and compelling ways to maximize engagement and consumption by target audience
  • Write content for many different audiences for several industries (including but not limited to healthcare, law firms, restaurant, etc) 
  • Coordinate day-to-day digital marketing activities (Social Media, Digital Advertising, Email Marketing, etc.)
  • Conduct research to determine the best strategies for reaching the client’s target audience
  • Support the development of search engine optimization strategy and implements tactics to increase website page rankings and leading search engines
  • Keep pace with social media and digital marketing trends and developments
  • Works within a team environment to address the creative, strategy, and insight needs of a project
  • Works with Open Source platforms including WordPress, Drupal, and trending social media
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and commitment to the organization, represent Kinetix in a professional manner
  • Act as a team player/self-starter with the ability to analyze tasks, work independently and to drive projects to completion
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications / Required Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or communications related field
  • Google Analytics Certification (To complete within 30 days of start date)
  • Google Ads Certification (To complete within 30 days of start date)
  • Other certifications as needed
  • Understanding of website design, website redesign, website hosting services, and SEO services
  • Understanding of technology in the business environment
  • Proficient with Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Social Media Platforms 
  • Proven self-starter and success record

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • PHP, SQL, Jquery, Twig, Strong knowledge of BASH scripting and Linux Command Line interface
  • Additional knowledge of HTML, CSS (Flexbox and Grid) and Javascript
  • Able to build and maintain modules/plugin features for Open Source platforms such as WordPress and Drupal
  • Assist clients with website related requests including content and technical troubleshooting
  • Ability to perform website migrations between servers and between website platforms
  • Performs security updates on Drupal and WordPress and Linux Servers
  • Domain and SSL setup and configuration through LetsEncrypt
  • Assist Digital department with web related needs (ex: tracking codes, pixels, etc…)

The position requires providing technical support and assistance, whether on phone, in person, or remotely related to computer systems, installation of technology services, and products. Duties include but are not limited to the following and additional tasks may be assigned by Kinetix Management Team.
 

Qualifications / Required Knowledge

• Proficient with Windows 7 and newer versions, Internet Explorer, Outlook Clients
• Knowledge of Windows Server OS; DNS, Web and Mail server functionality
• Working knowledge of anti-virus, firewall technologies, and other internet-related software
• Networking including knowledge of IP, cabling, and wireless network setup
