Position Summary

This position requires a skilled, personal, take ownership, full-time Bookkeeper with Quick Books competency to perform a variety of financial tasks. Duties include but are not limited to the following and additional tasks may be assigned by Kinetix Management Team.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

  • Receipt and processing customer payments
  • Account reconciliation and standard journal entries
  • Monthly reporting of receivables
  • Lead collections for 30+ Days Past Due Accounts
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
  • Update invoices and adjust client contracts as instructed by the business development or sales team
  • Ensure new clients are set up and appropriately coded in the system
  • Send out monthly invoices
  • Reconcile monthly credit card transactions
  • Balance monthly bank statements
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Daily entry of key data of financial transactions in database

Qualifications / Required Knowledge: 

  • Associate’s Degree in accounting or related field, preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a bookkeeping role
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Aptitude for business
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be comfortable meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience with financial statements and tax returns

Company Requirements

  • Valid Louisiana driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Proof of US Citizenship
  • No felony arrests
  • Dress and appearance should be business casual and grooming according to Kinetix Handbook and position
